28-105mm is ideal for widescreen video shooting. It is enclosed in a metal case. The front lens is polymer.
It is a single anamorphic zoom lens, it is mod Canon 28-105mm f3.5-4.5.
The diameter of the front lens is 80mm. The front thread for the light filter is 86mm.
Compression ratio is about 1.3x.
Zoom multiplicity is 3.8x.
In the horizon the maximum viewing angle is 25 degrees for APS-C format.
The adapter use only on EF mount APS-C format cameras, there is no vignetting.
It works with fullframe cameras, there is no vignetting from 50mm on a fullframe.
Most of clarity occurs at a distance of 10 meters to 20 meters. Depending on the optical design of the taking lens at a distance closer than 2 meters may need diopters +0.3/+0.5. If necessary, close-range shooting, if there are no diopters – you can clamp the diaphragm of the taking lens. The sharpness at infinity is in acceptable quality.
